Abstract/Summary:
Computer simulation training systems (CSTSs) could simulateproduction process, imitate operation interface and offer evaluation foroperation. Therefore, they have became the efficient training tools foroperators in process enterprises such as chemical, petroleum refining andpetrochemical. As foundation of CSTSs, the supporting system involves manydisciplines such as automatic control, computer graphics, networkcommunication and software engineering. So its development is difficult andneeds quite an amount of work. Based on systematical research on theconstructing method, this paper gives the detailed designment and softwareimplementation about the supporting system. The main contents are listed asfollows:(1) The supporting system for chemical simulation training systems ispresented and established, which could be run on single machine ormulti-machines. The system consists of three modules, namely model server,teacher station and student station. The mechanism through specified IP port isused to build communication between modules and to realize easy switchbetween running modes on single machine or multi-machines. (2) According to modular idea, model server is designed and realized,which contains interface, message handling, business function and databasemodules. Firstly, we design a database, develop the instrument configurationsoftware and put forward a general efficient data access method based onfeature of database. Secondly, we carry out the business function like statestorage, and put forward one general business management mechanism formulti-process by using polymorphism of object-oriented idea and "listregistration" Mechanism. Thirdly, multithreading technology is used toimprove running speed of model. Lastly, the communication problem is solvedthrough COM.(3)The configurable teacher station is designed and realized according torequirements of training. It offers friendly user interface for planning trainingprogram and improving training effect.(4) As the complexity of simulation of operation station, one generaldescription approach of set theory is presented to help analysis and design ofstudent station. At first, the normative methods of screen definition, screenswitch and information configuration are advanced to increase automation,when designing main window. Secondly, to design and implement the functionof operation station with MFC. Lastly, the configuration principle andimplementation method for flow diagram are illustrated, and the batch dataretrieval method based on client-agent was applied to improve the real-timeperformance for system. Many test experiments show that the system is efficient at model runningand data updating. And the supporting environment has been applied in theoperator training system of Jiujiang oil refinery successfully, which prove that:the system could meet user's requirement and has a good value for industrialapplications.
