This project mainly deals with the development of the operator training system for gas fraction. In this project, at first we adopted the dynamic simulation software platform-DYNSIM which belongs to the world's advanced level, and then took the SRK thermodynamics and the parameters which gained from the actual designing and production equipment in the plant of gas fraction for the mechanism of the whole process of modeling. Meanwhile, we took many tests about the start, shutdown and various kinds of fault circumstances of the dynamic model. The results showed that the response to various working circumstances of this dynamic model had a higher accuracy than the parameters of the actual production process.We took the Emulation simulator to develop the DCS operation interface of the operator training system. Though the application of this simulator will lead to larger workload on simulation configuration, its best advantage was the decline of the investment and the maintenance of a higher function fitting degree. In this case, the operators did not perceive the DCS operator interface of this operator training system was simulated at the beginning of the test work.During the communication between the dynamic model and DCS simulator, we adopted the SimulationSolutionsHMILink tools which provided by DYNSIM platform. Through the configuration of the Cross Reference and the ports of communication, this system can run in the Ethernet environment.After the application of this operator training system, the technicians and operators of factory used it in the start and shutdown operation exercises and observed the change of the process parameters under the accident situation, learning the operation of the device under the fault state, and so on. They have obtained an efficiently good training.
