In today's society, the values of products is gradually shifting from emphasis on objective factors to emphasizing subjective or Kansei factors, from the pursuits of product quality, functionality and price to the feeling, sense, and emotional impression of the products. Designers, policy makers and manufacturers need to focus more on the user's Kansei needs, which means the products need to reflect on spiritual and emotional care for the users. How to create Kansei value of a product becomes one of the main research directions of product design.This article is the design research of small household electrical appliances in China, which is the application of the theory of Kansei value creation system. The Theroy is based on the Kansei Table. The research is both the domestic application of the theory, and also the creation of Kansei value of small household electrical appliances (e.g. soymilk maker) for Chinese users. The research and application of this theoretical system in China is still in its infancy. Hope the research and application of the theoretical system in this article can promote its domestic development.Firstly, this article collects the Chinese local diction index of Kansei needs and meets them with the specific object of study. Then, the quality charts survey of soymilk maker is carried out. By quantizing data obtained from the survey, find the warps between the three types of users, who are makers, providers and receivers. Form the causes of the warps, the kansei value of soymilk maker can be developed in aspects of functionality, operational ability, duration, universality and sense of closeness. Last but not the least, the practical design is conducted under the guidance of the design methods. Also, the value of the design proposal is made, coming to the conclusion that this research method is both feasible and effective.
