The paper, takes the health monitoring data acquisition system of large suspension bridge as the object of study, adopting the connective method of theory, design and debug, eventually the compound researches on the system are worked out, and laying the foundation for the study. In this research, hardware circuit, corresponding modules procedures and acquisition subsystem of man-machine interface of the acquisition system are designed; using CCS software to simulation, and commissioning research, the goal for the later study is reached. The research methods can not only make the automation of the monitoring system improved, but also accumulate the references other data acquisition of structural health monitoring system. The main researches are sum up as follows:1. By the finite element theory analysis proposed for the bridge, dynamic response, temperature, force, deformation, live load, and the durability key in formations are identified. On the basis of the analysis, the proposed sensors layout plan of the health monitoring system is established.2. By analyzing the key data which based on the monitoring project, the overall project of the acquisition system is established.3. By the establishing of DSP-based hardware and software selection which lay under the principle, the monitoring hardware system is completed. In the data acquiring system, the bus is put forward for the data transmission, the hardware for each part of the selection is confirmed. Using the official software, exploiting the development of software for the hardware, finally the design requirements are acquired.4. In the case of completing acquisition system, for the sake of overcoming the weakness of the traditional manual inspection, the electronic subsystem interface is designed; eventually the integration of artificial inspection and health monitoring is solved.
