With the rapid development of the high-speed railway in our country, the safety and comfort problems during train's high speed movement are becoming a cause for concern. It's also a main contents of present research. Thus, it has important significance in train's status monitoring. This paper designs a set of data acquisition equipment and monitoring system for using in the environment of high speed train.This paper complete the design of the whole monitoring system, including the development of data terminal and PC software. For the ordinary data acquisition, it use PC and add data acquisition boards. In this way, it has some shortcomings, such as inconvenience of installation, weak abilities of anti-disturbance, high power consumption. This paper's data terminal adopte the STM32 series processors of ARM Cortex-M3 kernel and Actel company's Flash architecture FPGA to build the whole system, with low power consumption, high reliability and anti-interference capability etc.It realize high-precision data sampling with 32 channels, local data preservation, network for large amount of data communication, wireless data communication functions.And it can implement multiple data collector's acquisition with high-precision synchronous.This paper firstly introduces the background and significance of the research paper, and then illustrates the portable data terminal design and development. Based on the structure of ARM and FPGA, the STM32 use RT-Thread real-time operating system. It chose MDK IDE as software development platform to fulfill the function of compiling and debuging. Actel company's FPGA adopted Libero IDE integration development platform to realize the function of high-precision data synchronization collection.For the development of PC software section, it includes on-board software, server software and customer software's development, using C++Builder IDE as a development platform.In the data processing section, it use matlab development platform, and write a visual interface program to realize the data batch processing. Data processing including data preprocessing(deburring, smooth, filtering, etc.), time domain's eigenvalue extraction, spectrum diagram analysis, rain flow amplitude spectrum etc.
