The development of high-speed railway greatly alleviates China’s insufficient transport capacity. With an increasing speed, high-speed train brings much convenience in our daily trip and becomes one of the most popular means of transportation. "Start at dawn and arrive at dusk" seems impossible when taking the High-speed train for a long journey, but this dream has become a reality. However, along with the enhancement of dependence on railway transportation, the safety and comfort of high-speed train has aroused much attention. And in recent year this topic has become a hot issue for Chinese researchers. This thesis focuses on designing a monitoring system which can be used to ensure that the high-speed train is safe and comfortable.In the thesis, through consulting literature and documents, I am deeply aware of the recent status of train’s monitoring system all over the world and realized remote train monitoring system technology in China for high-speed train still have immature use. Based on the situation, the thesis has constructed a basic framework of train’s monitoring system that includes two main parts:the train’s terminal monitoring system and trains’ service center system. The main purpose of the train’s terminal monitoring system is to collect data. The thesis uses STM32 chip based on core of ARM Cortex-M4 to design the hardware system. At the same time, the data will be transferred through the 3G network. Vehicles’service center system is mainly to receive data from the train monitoring terminal system. B/S model is introduced to the remote monitoring service center system. The collected data facilitate personnel to review and analyze.At last, the thesis has carried on a debugging for the entire train monitoring system, basically achieving train’s accurate monitoring and meeting all the requirements of system design. Summary and forecasting of the system design are also involved in the thesis.
