| Flux reversal machine has high performance PM mounted on the surface of the stator which is easy to be set and is suitable for high-speed applications. The flux reverses polarities in the stator concentrated coils which leads to higher power density compared with traditional DSPM machine. Besides ever research, the main study works of this paper are as follows:FRM's principle and character of operation was introduced, as well as the research profile. There is notable PM flux leakage caused by its structure in flux reversal machine. To reduce the flux leakage, the researchers propose different improved methods. This paper analyzes the effects of several typical improvements on winding flux and cogging torque using 2D finite element method and points out its advantages and disadvantages, so it can be used in design.Ansoft is a common software in the designing and analysis of machine. After completing the design calculation of the motor, the three-phase 12/16 structure finite element model of FRM was built in maxwell which is a part of Ansoft and the static analysis was finished. At last we can get magnetic field distribution and inductance matrix.A simulation model was made in MATLAB to simulate motor's operation. Upon design equations, simulation result and finite analysis, an experimental motor was made. Finally, test results of the experimental motor are provided to verify the design equations... |
