| The railway station is the key component of the railway network. It is the critical locality of exchanging station vehicles stream, adjusting movement of trains and supplying transportation power, besides handling the related stations' trains operation, the technology and passenger and cargo services. As an important railway equipment, whether the planning and size is reasonable, whether the capacity satisfies the demand for freight transportation, marshalling yard is extremely significant in enhancing the railway transportation efficiency and the level, guaranteeing the security and unimpeded road network, speeding up the rolling stock the turnover, saving cargo delivery time, enhancing the economic efficiency and social efficiency, promoting the continually development of railroad shipping industry.Based on the problems of insufficient ability of marshalling yard in Kunming railway station, this paper carries out the capacity expansion and reform plan of marshalling yard, by combining with theoretical analysis and actual planning. The main works of this paper are listed as following:Firstly, this paper analysis the aspects of current status of Kunming terminal,train arrival characteristics,map planning of the original terminal,existing problems,city planningand the general situation of Kunming east marshalling yard are synthetically. This paper compares the characters of each forecasting method by considering the importance of train network in national economy and map planning of the original terminal, and uses the improved grey model to forecasting the passengers and freight in Kunming Railway.Secondly, according to the imbalanced arrival, capacity criteria were calculated, such as the carrying capacity and the resorting capacity of the Kunming east marshalling yard. The actually operation and some feasible measures were pointed out based on the above analysis.Finally, based on the factors,methods and principles of the capacity expansion scheme of marshalling yard, and the layout of railway hub, some capacity expansion plans were pointed from the organization and technology of rail transport respectively. This paper develops optimal scheme through technical-economical comparison and the AHP-fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model by combining qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. According to the final scheme, this paper makes a deeper research on the station layout, and calculates the capacity of the reformed Kunming east marshalling yard finally, and the result proves this design is feasible. |
