The Study On The Evaluation And Prediction Of Pavement Performance And Maintenance Countermeasures Of The Expresshighway Circling In Chengdu

With further promotion of the western development, after many years's operation, a lot of highways begin to appear the phenomenon of a variety of pavement properties damage, and can not provide with fast, safe and comfortable service to passengers. So if the maintance for the pavement is not in time and completely, it will greatly shorten the span of the road's operation. There is a example of Chengdu circling Expressway for analysis about pavement properties under the effection both of the urban fast track and National Highway, also the Chengdu Ring Expressway pavement performance testing, evaluation and prediction system analysis, and finally conclude the conservation stratage. The main contents and results are as follows:1,First give a statistic analysis of the 10 km road of Chengdu circling Expressway's base on past years' traffic, as well as the components of veichl' type, the standard axle load Then choose the Pavement Condition Index,Road quality index,Pavement Strength Index,Lateral force coefficient, and detect the four indecators of the year 2000, year 2006, year 2008 respectively in the field, statistic the pavement's property indicator each year, acquire the indiators's trend, give the Comprehensive evaluation of the pavement's property.2,According to relative literature, analysis all kinds of prediction methods of pavement performance prediction model in both domestic and foreign and it's limitations for applicaion, the Grey Markov prediction model was employed, the traffic volume of Chengdu circling Expressway and the standard axle load were forecasted for the near future, and compare the predictive value to its actual traffic volume and axle load standards.3,After the analysis of the decay of pavement performance, the standard equation which show the pavement performance indicators variying with the operation of the time and the number of standard axle load frequency are selected, and predicted the change trend of the pavement performance indexes of the express highway circling city in Chengdu with the service time and the action times of the standard axle load by using this equation.4,Based on the statistical prediction of the trafic volumes and the test, evaluation and prediction of the pavement perfoemance about the express highway circling city in Chengdu, this paper put forward the pavement preventive maintenance countermeasures.
