In this paper, on the basis of analysis and summary of current research and problems to the computer-aided kinematic scheme innovative design, a deep research was made in automatic generation of scheme innovative design, assembly configuration analysis and configuration sketching. The primary contributions and achievements are as follows.From the system point of view, the theory of kinematic scheme innovative design based on character design rules was discussed. As a further step, strategy of detailed reasoning process and realization of computer-aided kinematic scheme innovative design was researched and fulfilled, which is more simple and systemic and easy to carry out.Avoiding the problem of explosive and isomorphism schemes, a new method for the identification of link similarity was proposed on the research of topological properties and adjacency relationships in the kinematic adjacency matrix. Then, an example was illustrated and compared with other approaches. The study and application shows that the proposed method is reliable and effective and easily dealt with by computer.According to the single-link transformation principle, and based on the topological characteristics investigations to planar closed kinematic chains (PCKCs), a general study of the kinematic configuration analysis of planar mechanisms with R-pairs is conducted in view of two key problems, automatically multi-bar BKC type identification and kinematic configuration analysis situations judgment. A novel approach for identification of multi-bar basic kinematic chains (BKCs) within the kinematic chain left from the single-link transformation is proposed. On the other hand corresponding unified constraint equations are set up on the basis of aforementioned analysis results.According to the characteristics of constraint equations'structure, constructed unified constraint equations was solved with coefficient homotopy which is the foundation for automatic sketching system of kinematic diagram of mechanism, but also an important link in automatic assembly and simulation of mechanism.Based on these research achievements above, a computer-aided kinematic scheme innovative design system was programmed with VB 6.0 and Solid Edge software. Finally, corresponding instance was given ice, which proves its feasibility and available. |
