When the urban transport problems, respectively by increasing the supply and curbing demand has not yet been resolved, but generate more traffic problems, reflec-tions on transport policy and perspective only from traffic to solve the traffic problem is important. In the paper with urban planning, land economics and other disciplines, from the macro level(urban transport and spatial form),the micro level(urban transport and land use ) to study the inner mechanism of city and transport, from the perspective of a reasonable growth of urban transportation and urban spatial form to study the matching relationship of urban transport and land use, thus from the generation of traffic demand to understand the substance of transport problems. This paper focuses on the the relationship of urban traffic and spatial form and land use . First, in the study of urban transportation and space, analysis the the corresponding relationship, and obtained the results. Secondly, in the study of urban transport and land use, in order to achieve the road of "compact development ", different types of roads required different surrounding land use to achieve maximum efficiency of land, Thus propose a new classification and standard of urban road. in order to achieve the rail of "compact development ", different types of track site required different surrounding land use to achieve maximum efficiency of land, Thus Different nature of the site need the proposed site with the proposed land use. Finally, in the conclusion of urban transport and space, with empirical analysis to verify the conclution.from the study of transport and land use, clear the coordination factors, and proposal the approaches and recommendations...
