Along with the rapid development of scientific technology and increasingly fierce competition, there are more and more trades in the worldwide. Therefore, the carriage of goods is from the domestic transportation to the international transportation. Above 90 percent of the international transport is implemented through the sea, making the port becoming one of the key links in the international logistics chain, and becoming more and more important during the development of modern logistics. Along with the steady progress of our country's economy development, China has become one of the world's most important port logistics. China's port cargo throughput and container throughput have already been ranked firstly in the world. Port logistics faces unprecedented opportunities for development, and port logistics enterprises how to improve its competitiveness in the fierce market competition and how to gain a competitive advantage is becoming an important problem. Therefore, the study of the ability of port logistics has become an important issue of a lot of experts, scholars, practitioners and so on. Based on the above background, this paper studies the logistics capability of the port logistics enterprises from the following several aspects.Firstly, this paper introduces the basic theories of modern logistics and the port logistics, defines the port logistics capability, analyses the connotation and the influencing factors of the port logistics. According to the frontal basic theory and combining the results of port logistics capability by previous, this paper puts forward the comprehensive index of the evaluation of the port logistics capability.Secondly, this paper introduces the basic principle of structural equation model, the modeling configuration and peculiarities. According to the established index, this paper establishes the structural equation model of the port logistics capability evaluation.Again, this paper selects quanzhou port for instance, analyses the data through questionnaire survey on reliability and validity by the software of spss18.0,eliminates some unreasonable index factor and designes the ultimate investigation questionnaire, again carries on the investigation , and establishes the structural equation model of the port logistics capability evaluation of quanzhou port, estimate and inspect the model by using amos software, finally we obtain the main factors of influencing the port logistics capability of quanzhou port. Aiming at the conclusion of the study, we put forward some measures and suggestions of improving port logistics capability of quanzhou port.
