The Research On The Evaluation Of Wuhu Port Logistics Capability

With the rapid development of China’s economy and the increasingly close trade between countries and regions,the port logistics industry has developed vigorously.Port is an important hub of transportation,and the development level of port is also an important indicator to measure the development of local logistics industry.In recent years,with the continuous construction of inland ports in China,the hinterland overlap between ports,homogeneous competition,overcapacity and other problems are also emerging.Therefore,it is of great significance for the long-term development of port logistics to make an objective and reasonable evaluation of port logistics capability and put forward scientific development strategies.Wuhu port is an important port in the Yangtze River Basin in China,and its logistics capability ranks in the forefront among inland ports in China.In recent years,with the continuous promotion of the strategy of the rise of central China,a large number of industries in the developed areas of the Yangtze River Delta have been transferred to the mainland,and the economy of Anhui Province has developed rapidly.As the most competitive port in Wanjiang port group,Wuhu port has a rapid development momentum of port logistics industry and great development potential in the future.In 2020,Wuhu port was officially approved as a port type national logistics hub,reflecting its important strategic position and outstanding development achievements.However,compared with the port groups in developed coastal areas,Wuhu Port still has many deficiencies.For example,the lack of overall strategic planning,the low efficiency of land and water conversion,the lagging development of logistics park and the imbalance of infrastructure ratio seriously restrict the high-quality development of Wuhu port.Therefore,it is necessary to clarify the current positioning of Wuhu port,find out the problems existing in port operation,put forward scientific development strategies and formulate long-term development strategies,so as to break through the development bottleneck and achieve efficient and sustainable development.In order to evaluate the logistics capability of Wuhu Port objectively and fairly,this paper selects the evaluation indicators based on Vague set,uses AHP-EWM method to determine the subjective and objective weight of the indicators,and determines the final weight according to the combined weight method based on game theory.At the same time,TOPSIS method is used to score and rank the logistics capability,and DEA model is used to evaluate the input-output efficiency of Wuhu port.By analyzing the vertical comparison results of logistics level of Wuhu port in time series and the horizontal comparison results with other major ports in the Yangtze River Basin,combined with the SWOT analysis of Wuhu port,this paper finds out the current shortcomings of Wuhu port,and puts forward targeted development strategies.The research proves the scientificity and applicability of the above methods and models in the evaluation of port logistics capability,and the proposed views have a certain reference value for the future development of Wuhu port.
