A Study Of The Relation Between The Adjustable Dimensions Of Automobile Seat And Driving Comfort

This issue which observed the ergonomic point of view, after the actual questionnaire survey, established the basic theory of automobile seat research based on ergonomic analysis of automobile seat and other operation device Associated with automobile seat, and studied the stroke adjustment of the automobile seat based on some experiments to find which is suit for Chinese driver. The results of experiments showed:(1) We study the adjustable dimensions of automobile seat through subjective assessments. Those four evaluation areas are neck and should,upper limbs,body,the legs and All these include nineteen evaluation area and three operation device. Those evaluate contents are the comfort level of automobile seats and operation devices. Then using free modulus amplitude estimation statistic and analysis standardize subjective assessments which under the adjusting mode according to gender. Finally we combine the subjective assessment with the initial position of car seat to get optimal range which aim at different gender.(2) We obtain 6 people's sitting physiology data of the limb,body,legs by camera. By analyzing all those data,we get the relationship of the adjustable dimensions and people's sitting physiology angles. The result fit the results that we get from the first part. At the same time we also get the adjusting function of seat back's segmentation from the questionnaires. Put all these together, we will get the optimal designing range and the optimal designing range of segmental seat back.Except that, we also take photos of human body during the experiments. According to those human body sizes, we calculate the men's and women's limb moving range whose height are the 5th percentile,the 50th percentile and the 95th percentile. Then determine the largest,the smallest and favorite range of hand work in the driving area.
