Time, cost and quality are main control object in construction project management. They must be considered together to manage construction project reasonably because they are interdependent and mutual influence. It is overall discussed that how to quantize the three object, to create an integrated optimization model and to choose algorithms to solve the problem. This paper firstly analyzes and discusses problems exist in the optimization study of multi-objective in construction project management. The main objects of construction project management are outlined and time, cost and quality are defined scientifically. Construction project is divided into construction activities in order to research. The paper analyses the studies of time-cost-quality in construction project, including creating models and solving problems. It is pointed that existing researches have some weakness, and this paper researches the optimization of time-cost-quality under non-linear relationship in construction project. After above analysis, this paper creates a non-linear model for the optimization research of multi-objective in construction project management and solves the model particularly. On the basis of analyzing the non-linear relationship of time, cost and quality, the three objects are described measurably. Multi-attribute utility function is constructed and broken up using the decompounded theorem. Then the multi-object optimization model is created and the estimate function is chosen. Besides, this paper introduces the genetic algorithms systemically and the advantages of using it to solve the problem. The model is then solved with the genetic algorithms.A case study is given to prove that the model can shorten the time, reduce the cost and improve the quality of construction projects as well. This research has guidance signification in the practice of the management and the control of time, cost and quality in construction project management.
