On-line analytical instruments, also known as process analytical instruments, is mounted directly on the site of industrial production processes,which automatically and ceaselessly measure composition and property of the material.It plays an important roal in industry production and development of the technology and economy.The manufacturing technology of on-line analyzer has been perfected increasingly over the decades of development. Because of he different process of various production equipments, Any on-line analytical system is almost he non-standard equipment.On-line analytical instrument's performances and stability mainly depend on sample handling system's property and stability.The calorific value on-line analytical system of substitutable gas using in coke oven put into use in 1995 in Shanghai Coking & Chemical Corporation.However, due to the poor and complexity of on-site environment and sample gas, also the design error , there are problems of maintenance overload,lag and inaccuracy. Until last year, three instruments worth millions has been replaced ,but the effect is still not very good. From the actual experience, the focus and difficulty of the analytical system lies in the sample handling system. The paper analyzes the disadvantages of original analyzer,to improve the whole system, designed a new on-line analytical system.The redesign and operation of the analytical system eliminate the insufficient of the product development and product hidden trouble. Moreover, it reduces the maintenance workload and expense maximumly, and ensures the normal operation of the analyzer.
