The 21st century, energy has become a question that the universe commonly concern about. In China, the building energy consumption is about a quarter of the total energy consumption. With the improving of the citizens'material standard of living, the contradiction between ensuring building thermal comfort and reducing building energy consumption has been increasingly intensified. How to reduce building energy consumption has become a subject for the construction industry to solve. In this context, low energy consuming techniques and new energy technologies open up important areas to alleviate the contradiction.In this article, To reduce the building energy consumption in the extreme cold weather conditions, with "cut costs" of energy-saving design, through simulation researching methods, we have analyzed both the maintenance of the building structure of low energy thermal properties in this area and thermal properties of the new energy heating system ,to discuss the application of low energy consuming building in cold zones.This article based on " Design Standard for Energy Efficiency of Residential Buildings in Severe Cold and Cold Zones" (JGJ26-2010) and "Design Standard for Energy Efficiency of Residential Buildings in Heilongjiang Province" (DB3/1270-2008), we analyze the thermal characteristics of new energy-saving building envelope materials comparatively, design two low energy buildings for cold zones by using the EnergyPlus software, and analyze the energy of maintaining heat consumption of each part in normal building compared with annual energy consumption, then we authenticate that both the two low energy building models reached the goal of energy saving 70%; by Simulating natural room temperature of the Simulation building, analyzing the Thermal Comfort throughout the year of the two model comparatively, we confirm that not only the natural room temperature fluctuate less in Low energy consumption model but also it is still above 16℃in a transition period before and after Heating in Harbin. so it has better thermal comfort.With the new energy system technologies, we choose using solar energy and geothermal heating for the low energy building, to establish solar - gas boiler heating system and solar energy - ground source heat pump heating system. By writing MATLAB simulation program, analyzing the heating characteristic and the degree of energy conservation of the two simulation systems, we make a quantitative analysis of the energy consumption and running expense in low energy consuming building of cold zones with the new energy resource heating system.
