The product design process, as a form of organization of design activities, is hierarchical, complex, iterative, and knowledge-intensive. The modeling of product design process is very important for product design efficiency and design quality. However, design task is the core concept in the modeling of design process. Previous studies are mainly focused on the optimization of multiple task scheduling policy and resource allocation, however, few research have been done on the integration of task modeling and knowledge management. This paper studies the modeling of ontology-driven task-based design task in the product design process, the modeling of task-based design process framework, as well as knowledge acquisition mechanism based on the post feedback.First, this paper studies the classification and characteristics of design knowledge in the enterprise knowledge management system, as well as the design knowledge modeling based on ontology. Based on knowledge modeling, the modeling of design task is proposed. The task model contains basic information, activity properties, task relations and constraints, and knowledge context. Based on the above models and methods, we design and implement the knowledge modeling subsystem and the design task modeling subsystem.Second, a four-tier framework for task-based design process is proposed, including the user interface layer, process layer, the design task layer and the ontology layer (knowledge modeling layer). We use the workflow technology in the process layer, and describe the state model and iterative model of the design activities, making the design activity modeling closer to the actual design activities. In addition, we propose the instance-based knowledge Based on above studies, we design and implement the design process modeling subsystem.Finally, this paper proposed the post-feedback-based knowledge acquisition mechanisms, including the feedback of the experience of designers and product failure case feedback. We focus more on the feedback process of product failure cases. The generated feedback cases will be stored in the knowledge library after review, and will be attached to related design activities, product components and design tasks in order to facilitate future reuse, and improve the design success rate and production efficiency, and reduce the number of iterations and the failure rate of the design activity.
