With the rapid development of power electronics technology, computer technology and the automatic control technology, electrical transmission technology has been a historic revolution. After development of twenty years, modern AC drive has gradually become the mainstream of electrical transmission. In induction motor governing system, the highest efficiency, best performance is the variable speed drive system. Therefore, research on frequency control is the most active and most practical value work of electrical transmission of the current study, the potential of inverter industry is enormous. Inverter technology industry includes all industries related with inverter technology, namely, the production of power electronic devices and drive protection IC, electrical transmission and system control technology, and other industrial applications. Qingdao SkyTrust Electric Co., Ltd. mainly produces switching equipment for mining, switching equipment for mining mainly include two categories:inverter and vacuum electromagnetic starter (also known as combination switch). There are many problems of load test of inverter for mining:Drive load test requires a lot of operating personnel to manually debug nearby, resulting in waste of human resources, physical security of operating personnel can not get good protection. Damage coefficient of electrical equipment is high and experimental data error of drive load test is relatively large, in drive load test process more energy consumption and waste, experimentation cost is increased. With the application of mining inverter in mining enterprises, the quality of the products have higher requirements, product drive load test develops toward the automation direction. This paper is centered on the demands of meeting mining inverter's drive load test automation and drive load test economically affordable, proposes load test rectification program of switching product for mining. Research and design projects of mine-used inverter drive load test bench, achieve automated control of mining inverter drive load test and declare heavy machine load national laboratories.Firstly, the paper introduces the characteristics of inverter technology and current development. Then expounds components and functions of mine-used inverter drive load test bench system in each chapter, including power distribution units, BPJ2000KW/1140V inverter loading unit. And focuses on the design and application of upper computer in the drive load test bench system, and finally introduces the quality testing and debugging of drive load test bench.
