A brief introduction of the principle of light beam's adjustment is supplied. In order to compensate for the laser beam's excursion of the laser, so as to improve the alignment accuracy of the high-energy laser launching system, an adjusting platform with two-dimension has been designed, to achieve trimming the beam's direction. This paper has summarized the existing several of precise fine angle adjustment mechanism and theirs advantages and disadvantages. Ultimately, arc-faces with small curvature, which is tangential to a bevel of little obliquity to achieve angle adjustment, and a linear motor with fixed shaft to driving have been chosen. Based on them, an adjusting reflector with two-dimension has been designed.The new type high adjusting platform with two-dimension has used double floors of a same base, wedged frictional pairs made of arc-faces with small curvature which was tangential to a bevel of little obliquity, springs with high stiffness and binding screw to locking, all of them have been designed to achieve miniaturizing, high precise and high stability working. The main components'design and calculation have been made in this paper. Then, on the based of static analysis, the driving force needed has been estimated, the key components'structure size and material properties have been designed, and the linear motor with fixed shaft of proper model number has been chosen. After building 3D assembly model with software UG NX5.0, co-simulation of the adjusting system in ADAMS and UG is briefly introduced. Then the software ADAMS2005 is used to make dynamic simulation of the assembly model, which includes testing the structure motion's reliability and stability, parameters which may affect the system's performance, and also testing the relationship between linear feed and angle revolving.When the processing and assembling is finished, an experiment is made to study on the relationship between linear displacement and angular displacement, and the structure motion's stability. Then, the experimental data is analyzed and processed, to research on the error sources and analyze the system's adjusting resolution and precision.The results show that, the new type adjusting system with two-dimension is convenient to install, flexible and easy to adjust. It has high reliability, stability and precise, design benefit, small size, cheaper cost, and can be used whether there was weight condition. The new type adjusting system has great reference value for similar fine adjusting structures'design.
