As information technology revolution constantly development of intelligent and humane, Intelligent transportation system becomes one of the main directions of development of urban public transport and major cities have been working in the construction of intelligent transportation system. It is the most important to transform the traditional public transport system using of high technology and to promote the positive interaction among the passengers, vehicles, station facilities and traffic environment based on information for pushing forward the construction of intelligent public transport system. With the presentation and application of Internet of things, it is of great significance to lead the radio frequency identification (RFID) technology into urban public transport system.At first, this paper analyzes RFID works and studies bus positioning and dynamic tracking technology based on RFID/GPS/MM. Also the paper analyzes the current bus scheduling problems in the management. For acquiring a real-time scheduling method based on RFID of precisely counting number of bus travel and providing the basis for the development of public transport vehicles operating schedules, the paper studies Public Traffic Route Scheduling optimization technique, Public Traffic Regional Scheduling optimization technique and Public Traffic Driver Scheduling optimization technique based on RFID. Finally, the paper studies transit signal priority control strategies and adaptive signal priority control methods based on RFID by analyzing the works of RFID in the transit signal priority control and draws up the control procedure of signal priority algorithm.RFID technology used in intelligent transportation system can effectively implement digital, intelligent urban transportation management and improve the efficiency of operations management of public transport and social services. Using of RFID technology can provide information on automatic, accurate, long-distance and do not stop collection functions for intelligent scheduling system and signal priority control system of urban public traffic and achieve free access to station, vehicle location and automatic detection and identification of public traffic, thus making public transport operation and management system to accurately grasp the bus parking lot and out of the bus real-time dynamic information and achieve truly intelligent management public traffic. |
