This paper takes Taiyuan Water Company as an example. It focuses on urban water supply system pumps variable frequency starting and optimization scheduling problem. Finally, it builds the corresponding mathematical model. According to the power system model of the axis of minimum constraints, the control system is given control strategy of the control system and the supervision system topology optimization of Taiyuan water plant control. In this paper, it gives optimal operation of the pump variable frequency control system and the best implementation method with engineering practice in the energy area, it introduces the pump frequency conversion process and implementation of automated way to run in engineering. Finally, this paper uses GA and improved variable coding method to solve optimal allocation model of the pump group and does simulation experiments.Taiyuan Water Company for water supply system, it considers the running water security, economy and reliability, in order to make the pump group working the best efficiency and reduce the energy consumption of water. At last, it makes the water company to optimize water control and distribution.
