The special equipments researched by the paper mainly mean small arms, and the efficiency mainly indicates killing efficiency. The killing efficiency of small arms means the ability to make the life goal lose the combat effectiveness after hitting him by killing element.of small arms. The simulation and evaluation for killing efficiency of small arms is a very important task of the process for design, preparation and modification of killing element of small arms. The theory of simulation and evaluation for killing efficiency of small arms is theoretical basis to reasonably select technique and tactics characteristic parameter in the design phase of killing element of small arms. In view of the killing efficiency of small arms, the paper established the model of penetration simulation for killing element of small arms and the method of parameter identification for the model of penetration simulation for killing element of small arms, studied methods of evaluation for killing efficiency of small arms, and on the basis of theoretical research of simulation and evaluation for killing efficiency of small arms, applicated the method of software engineering and system engineering, adapted Visual C#.Net and SQL Server 2005 to finish the design and development of software system for simulation and evaluation for killing effectiveness of small arms, the software system can perform the following tasks:(1) Penetration simulation for killing element of small arms(2) Calculation of evaluation for killing efficiency of killing element of small arms(3) Calculation of calibration for the model of penetration simulation for killing element of small arms(4) Management of basic databaseThe software system abided by principles of software design, used the concept of modular design and the method of object oriented design, adapted the dynamic link library (DLL) largely to facilitate module engraftment and function expansion, with friendly interface and convenient operation, which provided practical method and tool for the simulation and evaluation for killing efficiency of small arms.
