In order to solve both of these problems, many people have conducted a study on residential design methods, have appeared a number of innovative housing system, such as flexible space House, duplex House, CSI House, by a large part of which can be attributed to this theme--in the study of high efficient space design of residential areas.Residential high performance space is a very broad concept, its main objective is the study of efficient use of living space, this highly reflected in macro is able to save on construction sites provide an idea, embodied on the micro is able to meet a variety of needs, improving our quality of life. Compared to other types of residential, advantage of staggered floor dwelling is on the development of vertical space, this advantage can meet all requirements for residential high performance space:economy, comfort, adaptability. Possible staggered floor dwelling type like many creative type become mainstream, but type it as development of a supplementary, there is significance in the study of. It is in this context, authors to use it as a focus of thesis writing, hoping to capture people's attention.This chapter analyses the present problem of the residential development in China, and the corresponding solutions-development of efficient space House.
