The Research On Key Technology Of ASP (Application Server Provider) For Small And Medium Business

The mode of Net-manufacturing system based on ASP (Application Server Provider) is one branch of the development trends of IT service. Currently, small and medium manufacturing enterprises have weak technology power and low information level. ASP can provide application software and technical service with rental mode. The mode of ASP makes for solving difficulties of small and medium business. Therefore, it is important to research the key technology of ASP service mode.This paper focuses on a research on the key technology of ASP mode.On the basis of research on the basic theory of ASP mode and its development at home and abroad, combining current computer technology(such as network, database, web, java and J2EE), this paper puts forward ASP platform for small and medium business(SMB-ASP) , and presents the whole frame ,functions and the realization methods of this system. It is based on the research on the key technology of ASP mode.According to the practical functions' requirement of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) for SMB, this paper presents the design of the whole frame and functions of CRM on ASP mode. Then part of the system is developed to demonstrates the research.A website of the ASP platform for rental software is developed. After being warranted, Enterprise can search what it needs or place an order for some special application and rental software through the ASP platform. And it can issue information of supply and need on the website of ASP platform. In addition, the authorized enterprise can communicate in the technology forum, or consult the online expert of the ASP center to work out their technology problems.According to the ASP platform's network's capability, security and stability, solution to network is introduced.INTERNET-based SMB-ASP platform takes the structure of 3-tier B/S with the technology of Java and J2EE, to realize the "thin client". Enterprise has to pay nothing for the update of software and hardware system, and the application service is developed by the technology of component, ASP operator and enterprise can both reduce their costs and benefit from it. So the research on the key technology on ASP service mode for SMB in this paper is quite important.
