| This article expounds the role of the overhead crane, development statusand design methods. With the development of computer technology for productdesign brings new change, not only requests the product appearance andperformance, but also requests to shorten the design cycle. So how to achievethe rapid design of the lifting equipment is particularly important, while makingthe products have advantages of multiple functions, economy, reliability,comfort and security. The previous design mainly about static design, such as bycalculating the cross section of the maximum dangerous stress to validate thedesign rationality. The traditional design has been difficult to adapt to marketchanges, and the product designed safety factor is sometimes too high, not onlywaste the material but also increase the cost.A new method has been used, the virtual prototype technology has beenintroduced to he design, through the dynamic simulation of the data curve todetermine design is reasonable or not, which have significant effect for shortingthe development cycle and reducing the cost. The specific method is using Pro/Esoftware, ADAMS software, and the finite element software such as ANSYS asa platform, established the three-dimensional virtual prototype model fordynamics simulation analysis.Using overhead crane as the research object, by the dynamics theory todetermine the trolley running mechanism, lifting mechanism, travelingmechanism dynamic model. Using3D software Pro/E established solid model,through the seamless interface between them directly import into ANSYS forstatic and modal analysis, and import into ADAMS for simulation.In summary, for the virtual prototype research is the design, analysis, andsimulation application of the new method in overhead crane, providingreliability support for the production of the overhead crane. |
