The hoist is technical hoisting machinery which can open and close the hydraulicsteel gate, trash rack and cleaning equipment. It is a circular clearance for hoistingmachinery. Gantry crane machine is widely used in hydroelectric station to open andclose the water gate, because it can lift large-tonnage, at the same time it has flexibleways, directional movement and other characteristics. It is important to use the hoistcorrectly, in order to ensure the hydroelectric station’s high efficiently. But there ismore and more high demands to hoist, simply because the hydroelectric station’sindividual needs. With the rapid development of science and technology as well ascomputer technology, the traditional static design method can’t accurately reflect thedynamic performance during the actual operation of the gantry crane, the paper, thevirtual prototype technology. Therefore the thesis introduces the dynamic simulationmethod is introduced to the gantry realistic simulation of gantry crane hoist design andcalculation process, in the running of the dynamic characteristics in a variety of typicaloperating conditions.First of all, the paper determines and calculates normal design method of thestructural parameters of the gantry crane and compact car and cart running, the workingparameters of the traveling mechanism by normal design methods. Secondly, by use ofthree-dimensional solid modeling software Pro/E and establish a three-dimensionalentitative model of the gantry crane. Also the model will through special interfacewhich called Mechanism/Pro lead in ADAMS software and have a major impact on theentire simulation process wire rope construction mode theory.At the same timemethods were studied in detail. Third, in order to be underway the dynamics simulationanalysis of the complete machine model’s which includes lifting, the running ofhandbarrow and cart, moreover this paper analyses the resulting data of the obtainedcurves. The results indicate that it is feasible to use the virtual prototype’s simulation tothe design analysis method of hoist.In short, along with the design of the virtual prototype technology into the gantryhoist, it is gain simulation data and curves. Besides those, the dynamic performance ofthe actual operating conditions can also be obtained. It provides useful instrument andthe realization method in the portal hoist’s design of economic, stabilization, dependability and high-performance. It has universal theoretical significance andengineering application background.
