Forest Fire Based On Arcgis Developed Electronic Map Command Decision-making System

Forest fire prevention is the key point of the forest resources protection work. However, there are still many forest fires breaking out very year across the country, for the restriction of technical conditions. An effective and practical control system of forest fire prevention was designed by combining with the practical application and using the network service and Arcgis techniques. It covers the insufficiency and also opens up a new area for the current forest fire prevention system.Geographic information system (GIS) is a technical system which proceeds comprehensive management and analysis of spatial data. GIS allows visual display of geographic information of the monitory point. It provides a platform for the visual access and management of the video monitoring. It also forms a liaison between video information and the command decision of the forest fire prevention. In this article, structure and functional module of the video surveillance systems based on the Arcgis was introduced first. Then the main research content and key technology during the development of the system was analyzed.Take the full usage of the latest technological achievement in GIS,GPS field and modernized network technology and information technology to realize intelligentization and high-effectiveness. To improve the forest reserves management of the forestry department and scientific and technological level of the fireproofing work. To reduce the damage of forest fire, enhance the accuracy of the prevention and timeliness of the fighting work.
