Study On The Design Of Magnetic Drum Planting Machine For Tobacco

Abstract: As the technology of tobacco floating system was applied and promoted at home and abroad, and with the rapid development of industrialized seeding cultivating, in order to achieve the mechanization of tobacco plug precision seeding and satisfy the need of industrialized seeding cultivating technology, based on the analysis of the the existing precision machine, this paper proposed a technology of magnetic type precision drum seeder and the manufacturing of prototype was performed. Besides, the tobacco seeds pelletization machine equipment was studied. Centered on the topic research of the magnetic type precision drum seeder, this paper finished those tasks, listed bellow.(1) The development course of tobacco planting technology and seeding machine was briefly introduced, so was the tobacco floating system. The structure and work principle of various types of machine applied to the tobacco factory precision seeding were studied. And the inadequacies and development tendency of the precision seeding were analysed.(2) Based on the working principle of the machine, a certain proportion of magnetic powder should be added to the tobacco seeds coating. The processing of pelleted tobacco seeds was introduced, the material charecteristics including particle size distribution,1000 grains weight,pelleted rate,seed containing rate,single seed rate,splitting decomposition degree were indruced, and the contrast germination rate of the pelleted tobacco seeds were performed .The results showed that the tobacco seeds with magnetic powder growed well.(3) The study carried out on the magnetic tobacco seeds, the overall design of the magnetic type precision drum seeder was introduced, the structural parameters of the machine and the magnetic drum seeder were discussed in details ,as well as the parameters of the chain transmission device and the design of tobacco seeds box. In order to determine the magnetic density of magnet point on the drum seeder, the analysis of the force acting on tobacco seeds was indicated at different point on the drum , and the adsorption experiments of the seeds was carried out, the basic working conditions of the machine was provided to ensure the efficiency, and supplied bases for choosing the permanent magnets and the nails. This paper analyzed the reasonable structure of drum seeder and the value range of the parameters. (4) Finally, the paper researched the various factors that can affect the working performance of the machine by single-factor and orthogonal test ,the optimum parameters of the factors were get. The test results showed that the magnetic-type drum seeder reached the requirements of sowing precision of tobacco seed, with a simple structure, as well as low cost.To present by the theoretical analysis and experiment study in the thesis, an effective solution was provided for the practical application of tobacco precision seeding.
