The test use200Duroc crossbred weaned piglets consistent with similar weight andhealth,which were randomly divided into I, II, III, IV group, n=5replicates, each repeatedgroup has10piglets, respectively, was fed the basal grain, basal diet+doxycycline250mg/kg, the basal diet+0.5%compound Chinese herbal medicine, the basal diet+1.0%compound Chinese herbal medicine; the pre-test was10d, the positive test was30d;in the testperiod take the relevant records, at the end of the trial, gets the samples and detect indicatorsfor statistical analysis;in order to study the compound Chinese herbal how impact the pigletsgrowth performance, intestinal enzyme activities, intestinal structure, and immune effect;andcompared with antibiotic group in order to explore the feasibility of using this compoundChinese herbal to alternative the antibiotics in weaned piglets; This test consists of threeparts:Test one:compound Chinese herbal medicine on the performance ofweaning pigletsDuring the test, record weaning piglet feed intake; the beginning and the ending of theexperiment weaned piglets weighing, calculating the average daily weight gain, average dailyfeed intake and feed conversion ratio (feed conversion); And recorded the number of diarrheapiglets and diarrhea days, and then calculated the rate of diarrhea;the experimental data werestatistically analyzed,and the results showed that: the compound herbal medicine additiveplayed a role in promoting the growth of weaned piglets, the weaned piglets average weightgain and feed intake has increased, but the difference did not reach significance (P>0.05).Test Group III and Group IV day average weight gain compared with the control group wereincreased by3%and17%, and the Test Group IV compared with the Test Group II wasincreased by10%;The test IV group than the control group I increased by4%for averagedaily feed intake, rather than the Test Group II improved7%. For all: on the feed conversion,test II, III, IV, group have shown a downward trend relative to the control group and testgroup IV reached the lowest. Experiment II, III, IV group diarrhea rates were lower than thecontrol group I, respectively29%,48%and32%.Comparing with the groupⅠ,the group IIIwas significantly lower (P<0.05);Other groups had no significant difference;group III, IVand the groupⅡwas no significant difference (P>0.05), but got a decreased trend.Test two:compound Chinese herbal medicine on the impact of weaningpiglet intestinal structure and intestinal activityAt the end of the trial, each repeating group randomly selected a healthy piglet, slaughter, then taken duodenum,jejunum and ileum's intestinal contents, and scissorduodenum, jejunum, ileum2cm spare, sample processing then detection analysis; the resultsshowed that: experiment II, III and Group IV's bowel villus height were highly significantdifferences from control group (P<0.01), crypt depth in each experimental group in tandemwith the villus height increased and became larger, the difference was extremely significant(P<0.01), but the ratio of villus length and crypt depth, the test group than the control groupwere increased, which, the test group IV duodenum, ileum and Test Group III of the jejunumwas significantly higher (P<0.05); Compared with the test group II (antibiotic group), TestGroup IV of the duodenum, ileum and test Group III ileum villus height very significantlyimproved(P<0.01), although the intestinal villus length and crypt depth ratio was notsignificantly different in the experimental group III and IV and the antibiotic group (P>0.05),but there is a tendency to increase.The effect of the compound Chinese herbal additives and antibiotics in different parts ofthe intestinal amylase activity was not significant, the experimental group III in theduodenum was significantly higher (P<0.05)than the control group, other intestinal segmentsof each experimental group compared with the control group and experimental group is notsignificant (P>0.05). Add the compound Chinese herbal additives can improve pig intestinalactivity of trypsin, and the results are better than antibiotics experimental group. Addingdifferent proportions of compound Chinese herbal medicines and antibiotics for weanedpiglets, the gastrointestinal lipase was significantly different(P<0.05), and adding0.5%compound Chinese herbal trial group had the best effect.Test three:compound Chinese herbal mixture immune function in weanedpigletsAt the end of the trial, each repeating group selected a healthy piglet,then took bloodfrom the ear vein, and spared serum, centrifugal separation and determined swine feverantibody titers, serum immunoglobulin IgG, interleukin-6(IL-6) and tumor necrosis factor(TNF-alpha).The results showed that: the difference of the classical swine fever antibodylevels of group Ⅲ and group I compared with the control group were significantly (P<0.05);the difference between the other groups was not significant (P>0.05). Compared with thegroupⅠ, the test groupⅡpiglet's serum IgG level was significantly improved (P<0.05);butthe IL-6and the TNF-alpha were not significantly (P>0.05); the group III and group Ⅳpiglet's serum IgG and TNF-α had a significant increase (P<0.05), IL-6was verysignificantly lower (P<0.01). Compared to group Ⅱ,the group Ⅲ and group Ⅳ trial ofIL-6was significantly lower (P<0.05); serum IgG and TNF-α were not significant difference, while had a rising trend.The results: the compound Chinese herbal additives added in the basal diet of weaningpiglets, has improved the performance of weaned pigs, and promoted the rapid and healthygrowth of the weaned piglets; this compound Chinese herbal medicine can improve theactivity of the intestinal tract of weaning piglets, to promote digestion and absorption ofnutrients; can effectively improve the weaning piglet small intestine villus height, crypt depth,increase the ratio of villus height and crypt depth; can effectively protect the integrity of theintestinal structure,the intestinal thickness of each experimental group was no significantdifference;It can improve the weaned piglets swine fever antibody levels to improve theirvaccine immune responses. The Chinese herbal medicine group and the antibiotic groupdifference was not significant, results showed that the compound Chinese herbal additives isone of the ideal substitute for antibiotics.
