In this study,the effects of traditional Chinese medicine superfine powder compound products on the growth performance and immune function of weaned piglets were studied,which provided relevant data for the application of ultrafine powder in pig production.1.Effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine Superfine Powder Compound Products on the Growth Performance of Weaned PigletsThe aim of this study was to study the effect of adding compound Chinese medicine superfine powder on the growth performance of weaned piglets.200 healthy pigs weighing about 7.5 kg were divided into five treatment groups,which were fed with basal diet,basal diet + traditional Chinese medicine superfine powder compound products(500 g/T),basal diet + traditional Chinese medicine superfine powder compound products(1000 g/T),basal diet + traditional Chinese medicine superfine powder compound products(2000 g/T)and basal diet + chlortetracycline(150 g/T).Results showed that Chinese medicine ultrafine powder can be used to replace chlortetracycline in improving the average daily gain of piglets and feed conversion ratio and in reducing piglets diarrhoea.Chinese medicine superfine powder compound products can be supplemented to the basal diet of piglets at a level of 1000 grams per ton.2.Effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine Superfine Powder Compound Products on Immune Function of Weaned PigletsThe aim of this study was to investigate the effect of compound Chinese medicine superfine powder on serum immunological index and immune organ index in weaned piglets.A total of 60 weaned piglets with an average body weight of 7.5kg were randomly divided into control group and experimental group.Piglets in control group were fed basal diet and piglets in experimental group were fed basal diet supplemented with Chinese medicine superfine powder compound products at the level of 1000 gram per ton.Results showed that the growth of thymus,spleen and lymph of piglets and the contents of IgA,IgG,IgM,C3 and C4 in piglets were significantly increased by adding ultrafine powder to the basal diet of weaning piglets at the level of 1000 gram per ton.
