| Chinese herbal medicine is a kind of promising green feed additives,which has man-y advantages including wide distribution, low cost, various function, non-medicine resi-dence and no side effects to human and animals, and so on,which can avoid the negativeeffects of the antibiotic,substitute antibiotics in the role of animal and protect environme-nt.A series of research,containing the analysis of the compounds of Chinese herbal medi-cine,the composition and its mechanism, were conducted,which to provide some theorybasis for wide application of Chinese herbal medicine.1. The qualitative and quantitative determination of chemical composition ofChinese Herbal MedicineAnalysising the chemical composition of Chinese Herbal Medicine by chemicalreaction, the results show that it contains many polysaccharides, flavonoidscompounds, amino acids, organic acids, phenols, saponins class, volatile oils,terpenoids, steroid and coumarone compounds and so on. Then determine the contentof main active chemical ingredients by spectrophotometric method separately, theresults:the content of polysaccharides is6.54%, the content of flavonoids is3.77%,the content of alkaloid is1.23%, the content of saponins is1.12%, the contain ofamino acid is1.95%, the content of naphtha is1.17%, the content of polyphenol is0.64%.2. The influence of the rabbit production performance by Chinese HerbalMedicineStudying the influence of production performance by different proportion ofChinese Herbal Medicine on rabbit, the results showed that Chinese Herbal Medicinecan improve the average intake and average weight gain, the largest proportion is1.52%and5.42%(P>0.05),respectively;the feed/gain of each trial group were down2.29%,3.78%,4.39%(P>0.05) than the control group;lessening the rate of diarrhea and death,the rate are14.58%and12.5%, and economic benefitincreased16.03%.The experiment indicate that Chinese Herbal Medicine can relievethe stress of rabbit weaning, enhance appetite, accelerate the metabolism, drive bugsterilization, enhance immunity, reduce disease, and improve economic efficiency,and the appropriate proportion is1.0%to1.5%.3. The influence of gastrointestinal digestive enzymes by different population ofChinese Herbal Medicine on rabbitsResearching the influce of digestive ferment activity in gastrointestinal tract ofrabbit, including pepsase, trypsinas, lipase, and amylase. The results show thatChinese Herbal Medicine can improve the activity of digestive ferment by certainextent: pepsin activity of group II in stomach is higher than control one,significantly;the activity of trypsin in jejunum and ileum are significantly higher thancontrol one; the activity of lipase in stomach, duodenum and jejunal aresignificantly higher than control one, the other digestive enzymes in different parts ofdigestive tract are on the rise in certain degree.4. The influence of morphological structure of intestines by adding ChineseHerbal MedicineThe morphological structure of intestines on rabbits by feeding different propo-rtion of Chinese Herbal Medicine were studied.The results show that:(1) Chinese He-rbal Medicine can promote the growth of intestinal length, the groups of II and III induodenum were up12.07%,13.36%(P <0.01), the groups of II and III in jejunum in-creased by12.41%,13.35%(P <0.01);(2) Chinese Herbal Medicine can improvedthe ration of intestinal length and depth, the group of III in duodenal is18.32%higherthan the control group (P <0.05), other experiments in jejunum and ileum also hasbeen improved (P>0.05);(3) Chinese Herbal Medicine can increase the amount oflymphocytes and goblet cells in the bowel mucosal epithelium, the intestinal epithet-lium of lymphocyte number of ileum in group II and III were up18.03%,17.60%(P>0.05), the goblet cells of ileum in group III is28.14%higher than those in the control group (P <0.01) significantly, and group II significantly higher than those in con -trol subjects22.89%(P <0.01).That means Chinese Herbal Medicine can make themorphological structure better, improve the rate of digestivity and absorption, andpromote the rabbit's growth healthy. |
