Obssessive-compulsive disorder is an emotional difficult to treat, and is known to be the fourth most common psychiatric disorder, which causes a great deal of impatient to the life of the patient in academic, occupational, and social functioning. This paper adopts exposure and ritual prevention for 1 case with obsessive-compulsive for three weeks of treatment. It esposes the patient to the anxiety-provoking situation without any ritualization or compulsion, andmodify his distorted beliefs, so as to remove the symptoms of Obsessive-compulsion disorder. The healing process by the self-assessment lists of symptom and Yale-brown obsessive-compulsive disorder scale in patients before therapy and treatment, after treatment and follow-up of the assessment, to assess the patient's symptoms improved. Follow-up period of the results and the results compared before treatment, patients in many index is improved, one Yale-brown obsessive-compulsive disorder scale score from before treatment 43 points reduced to 10 points, he forced washing and number of times time was significantly reduced, the self-assessment lists of symptom factors score significantly reduced, and the relationship between the classmate improvement is very good, also he can participate in collective activity positively. That exposure and ritual prevention can effectively treat obsessive-compulsive disorder case, alleviate his subjective pain,resume his normal life and social function.The results are as follows:1,The plan of treatment is effctive and operational, it can improve the patient's symptoms effectively, and the related psychologcal problems are resolved too.2,The patient reported the improvement of the symptom.3,Exposure and ritual prevention is an effective psychological treatment for patient of obsessive-compulsive disorder.It improves the symptom of patient.
