Objective:This paper discusses the clinical significance of detecting the level of T-lymphocyte subgroup (CD3+,CD4+,CD8+), immunoglobulins (IgG,IgA,IgM) and complements C3,C4 in clinical diagnosis of children patients with herpangina. Method: Inspections are performed in two groups:One group of 30 children patients with herpangina and a control group of 30 healthy children. Levels of T-lymphocyte subgroup such as CD3,CD4+,CD8+ in peripheral blood were measured with Immunoturbidimetry; The levels of plasma immunoglobulins such as IgG,IgA,IgM and the complements C3,C4 were measured with flow cytometry. Results:The levels of CD3+, CD8+ were significantly higher than those of the control group (P<0.05); CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+ ratio were significantly lower than those of the control group (P<0.01); The levels of IgG,IgA,IgM were significantly lower than those of the control group(P<0.001). There was no significant difference in the levels of complements C3,C4. Conclusion:Children patients of herpangina suffer the functional disturbance of cellular immunity and humoral immunity. The analysis indicates that reduction of serum immunoglobulins may relate to the decrease of helper T cells (Th) and the increase of Suppressor T cells (Ts). No obvious change was found in the content of serum complements C3,C4 in Children Patients with herpangina (P>0.05). This indicates that the serum complements doesn't play a dominant role in the pathological process.
