Objective:To explore the status and characteristics of job burnout, job satisfaction of administration cadres, and further explore the relationship among their job burnout, job satisfaction and their coping styles, emotional intelligence, big five personality.Methods:Using the questionnaires and individual interviews,354 administrators cadres and 300 employees all in our province were assessed, the use of questionnaires including the coping style scale, the Emotional Intelligence Scale and the Big Five Personality Inventory, General Burnout Inventory, job satisfaction scale.Results:(1) 57.3% of the group tended to have job burnout, compared with the business community, the job burnout of this group mainly performanced as ineffective; and the group had higher job satisfaction, and significantly higher than the corporate crowds'. (2) The group's job burnout and job satisfaction was negatively correlated, job burnout can predict job satisfaction. (3) Coping styles was a significant predictor of emotional intelligence, big five personality and job burnout. (4) Emotional intelligence had an important predictor effect on job burnout. (5) Also big five personality was a significant predictor of job burnout and job satisfaction. (6) The coping styles played an intermediary role in the mechanism of emotional intelligence leading to job burnout. (7) During the Big Five personality impacting job satisfaction, job burnout played an important intermediary role.Conclusions:(1) The administration of cadres in our province had job burnout, and mainly as ineffective; but their job satisfaction was higher. (2) Emotional intelligence could indirectly affect job burnout of the administration of cadres by coping styles, and could also be a direct impact factor on job burnout. (3) Two Big Five personality factors of extraversion and openness could indirectly affect inner job satisfaction of the administration of cadres by impacting the two factors of job burnout: cynicism and ineffective, and also had a direct effect on inner job satisfaction. The responsibility factor could only affect the inner job satisfaction of administration of cadres by influencing the level of job burnout.
