Emotional intelligence is an ability which takes emotion and felling as objects. Emotional intelligence not only affects perception emotion and regulation, but also affects people's cognition and behavior and people's mental health. Coping style and cognitive style, emotion regulation ability, personality traits are closely linked. Subjective well-being is an important indicator of mental health. The research of the subjective well-being receives a lot of attention in the academic.We viewed college students as the research objects, to research the situation and relation among their emotional intelligence, coping style and subject well-being. The research used three scales to test subjects after overview and got 412 effective subjects' data. The results show that:(1) The college students have a high level of emotional intelligence in general. The scores of emotion self-regulation are lower than other factors and the scores of emotional application are higher than other factors. There are great differences in their gender, grade, specialty, family background and family environment. That is:①the scores of female students'emotional self-regulation are higher than the male students.②the emotional intelligence is improved from gradel to grade4.③the scores of liberal arts-college students' emotional intelligence, emotional self-regulation, emotional regulation Of others are higher than the science and engineering college students.④5he scores of rural-students' emotional perception is the higher than others.⑤the scores of the college students'emotional intelligence who live in too much love family environment are lower than others.(2) The coping style which college students use from more to less is:solving problem, help seeking, illusion, escaping, rationalization, self-blaming. There are great differences in their gender, grade, specialty, family background and family structure. That is:①the scores of female students'help seeking and illusion are higher than the male students.②the scores of grade4 are higher than other grades.③the scores of small and medium city-students'help seeking are higher than others. The scores of rural-students'self-blaming are higher than others.④the scores of single child's help seeking are higher than non-single child. The scores of single child's self-blaming are lower than non-single child.⑤the scores of the college students'self-blaming and rationalization who live in too much love family environment are higher than others.(3) The college students have a high level of subjective well-being in general. There are great differences in their gender, specialty, family background, family structure and family environment. That is:①the scores of female students' life-satisfaction and subjective well-being are higher than the male students.②the scores of liberal arts-college students'life-satisfaction, positive emotions are higher than the science and engineering college students.③the scores of big city-students' subjective well-being are higher than others.④the scores of single child's life-satisfaction are higher than non-single child.⑤the scores of the college students' subjective well-being who live in democratic family environment are lower than others.(4)There is a significant positive correlation between college students' emotion intelligence, emotional perception, emotional self-regulation, emotional regulation Of others, emotional application and solving problem, help seeking. Emotional intelligence and its factors show a negative correlation with illusion, escaping, rationalization, self-blaming but emotional application show a positive correlation with illusion.(5) There is a significant positive correlation between college students'emotion intelligence, emotional perception, emotional self-regulation, emotional regulation Of others, emotional application and subjective well-being, life-satisfaction, positive emotion. Emotional intelligence and its factors show a negative correlation with negative emotion but emotional perception show a positive correlation with negative emotion.(6) There is a significant positive correlation between college students'solving problem, help seeking and subjective well-being, life-satisfaction, positive emotion while there is a significant negative correlation between solving problem, help seeking and negative emotion. There is a significant negative correlation between illusion, escaping, rationalization, self-blaming and life-satisfaction, subjective well-being, positive emotion while there is a positive correlation between illusion, escaping, rationalization, self-blaming and negative emotion.(7)Emotional intelligence and coping style predict positively subjective well-being.
