The Contemporary Development And Enlightenment Of Psychological Health Education In American

Psychological problems of middle school students have attracted worldwide attentions, and social psychological demands of talent will be more improved in the future. Agreement to strengthen psychological health education has been already reached. Therefore, the countries all over the world regard psychological health education as an important part of modern school education system. The American was the first country in the world to develop psychological health education. After one century of development, psychological health education of the American has become a more mature system. It was America's special status on psychological health in the world that made it as a good target on the historical research and will be of very theoretical significance to the other countries, particularly to the development of the psychological health education in our country .Concerning on the actual effect of psychological health issues and by using the method of documentary and comparison ,this study describes concepts and standards of psychological health and psychological health education. Based on the self-development of psychological health education of the American, the history was divided into three stages: the start-up phase, the development phase and maturity phase . In order to made a deep study of middle school psychological health education model, this study takes state middle schools of Howard County in the American for example ,by means of the management, teaching and psychological assistance to show the model of American psychological health education . In the conclusion part of this study, the author summarizes the main experience of middle school psychological health education in American. Combined with our reality and successful experiences of middle school psychological health education development in American, the author suggests that meeting the psychological needs of students is the base of education; training of teachers is a professional source of strength; creating local model is the only way to development and establishing of standardized law system is an important safeguard.
