Research Of Homonym And Synonym On Plant And Animal Nounts In ErYa

ErYa(《尔雅》)as the father of our country's dictionary, there are a lot of homonym and synonym phenomena in the last seven sections of plant and animal nouns. In this artical,we mainly base on the plant and animal nouns as researching data,sorting and analysising the names of animals and plants to determine which it appears the homonym and synonym phenomena, tracing the named rationale of the two phenomena in plant and animal nouns, discussing the reasons for the formation of these two phenomena and mechanisms.In this paper, reasearching the homonym and synonym phenomena in the terms of animals and plants nouns recorded in ErYa(《尔雅》), I mainly base on the relative to proof of object named theory and the stage theory of the occurrence and accumulation of chinese vocabulary. In the course of the study, the mainly used methods including:to relate and compare cognates, to explore meaning through voice, comparing and mutual proving method, dialects and related languages confirmation method, and authentication method by biological knowledge.Paper consists of the following components:Preface.
