Research On The Current Situation And Counter Measures Of Psychological Health Education In Higher Vocational Colleges In Guangxi

Higher vocational schools cultivate practical talents of advanced technology. Theses talents should meet the demand of home and abroad markets in new era, and they should be qualified with good psychological quality to challenge the fierce competition. Thence, it is essential to enhance the psychological health education of higher vocational school students. The thesis focuses on the psychological health education of students from professional training schools and higher vocational schools in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The thesis analyses the related conception of psychological health, and comprehends the current situation of psychological health education in colleges in Guangxi by massive interview surveys. Finally, it comes up with a proposal of psychological education curriculum and textbook taking experience from abroad into consideration.There are four main parts in the thesis. The first part is propose problem. It analyzes the study background, research approaches and the related theoretical basis. The second part summarizes the psychological education of higher vocational schools. It defines the basic conceptions of health, psychological health and psychological heath education of student by analyzing the necessity of psychological education and psychological characteristics of students in higher vocational schools. And it discusses the importance of psychological education in higher vocational schools. The third part analyzes the current situation of psychological education in higher vocational schools. The thesis investigated teachers and students from some schools by questionnaire surveys and interviews. The investigation covers the students' understanding, valuation, attitude, expectation and demand towards psychological education. And it reflects on the psychological education in higher vocational schools in Guangxi according to the analysis. The author regards the problem of psychological education in higher vocational schools lies in the indeterminate educational objectives, incomplete education content, unitary teaching form, lack of guarantee and low-level teaching staffs. The fourth part comes up with the analysis of causes and countermeasures. It proposes the reasonable psychological health education objectives and the educational content. It also suggests establishing a high-level teaching staff and setting up the accurate understanding towards psychological education.
