| The Chinese traditional music has a long history with various types and profound culture details. However, the development and evolution of social culture have brought great impact to traditional music and cultural resources. Also many kinds of traditional music are getting old without worthy successor. So it becomes more and more an urgent question that how to protect and inherit Chinese traditional music culture, which also brings profound thoughts to Chinese music educators. This article studies the "2009 Beijing Traditional Music Festival" through field investigation and descriptive study of Anthropology by the author as both insider and outsider, so as to study the implication of the method of heritage on music education and tradition music heritage both in theory and practice for "2009 Beijing Traditional Music Festival".There are four chapters in this article. Chapter 1 is the preface discussing the rationale of subject selection, research methodology, key definitions and general introduction. Chapter 2 studies the music education activities in "2009 Beijing Traditional Music Festival", including the descriptive study and field investigation on training class, forum, master class and executive teacher class, as well as a series of special performance. Chapter 3 analyzes and studies the method of heritage of "2009 Beijing Traditional Music Festival" from the perspective of music eduction, with the combination of its attributes. Last but not least, Chapter 4 discusses the method of heritage of "2009 Beijing Traditional Music Festival" both in theory and practice.What is the impact of "Beijing Traditional Music Festival" to promote and assisst the traditional music heritage on campus? Will it be an effective way to faciclitate the traditional music heritage on campus? Based on the study in this article, the author seeks to solve the question above and explore a new way and method of the traditional music heritage and development. |
