Republic Of China Qingdao Area Marine Natural Disasters And Their Relief Rescue Study

Marine natural disasters of Tsingtao in the period of Republic of China occurred frequently. In those years, the most pernicious marine natural disasters were: storm surges, sea winds and disastrous waves, sea fog and sea ice etc. These disasters threatened the safety of lives and property of people along the coast badly, and they damaged the development of the society of economy badly.This thesis introduces the kinds and damages to society and economy of marine natural disasters of Tsingtao in the period of Republic of China, and it also introduces the disaster relief which Tsingtao government and social charity organizations adopted. This thesis wants to describe the real situation and let people have an integrate cognition on the marine natural disasters and the disaster relief of Tsingtao in the period of Republic of China.By means of describing the damages to society and economy of marine natural disasters of Tsingtao in the period of Republic of China and the disaster relief which Tsingtao government and social charity organizations adopted, we can learn a lesson from the action of disaster relief, so we can prevent some unnecessary damages from happening.
