The Research On Xia Fengtang Site And Thesis On The Pre-Qin Sites In Upstream Region Of Xin'an River

Xia Fengtang site is 200m away from the south of Fengtang village, Fu'e town, Shexian of Anhui Province, which has been excavated in 1994 and 2010. The excavated remains were classified as pottery and stoneware. There were 120 pieces stoneware (excludes stones and the scrap) and over 9000 pieces pottery. This thesis mainly on the classification and comparison from the fabrication, format to the utilization of excavated remains through the analysis and research on them from Xia Fengtang site, especially on the basis of the second excavated data in July 2010, and give a complete introduction as far as possible to discuss on the cultural feature and property, and carry out initial analysis on its reflected social-economic formation, social organization structure etc. as well as. The excavated stoneware in Xia Fengtang mostly is the varieties and format of bunt, and then are stone adze and stone blade; the pottery mostly are Clip sand red pottery and Clip sand red brown ceramic which are loosen, fragile and smelting is low. In the angle of the combination of stoneware and pottery, the main foods of Xia Fengtang folks are hunting and fishing, meanwhile, agricultural production and collecting is an important supplement, as well as textile production.In the upper reaches of the Xin'an River, the archaeology work at the Pre-Qin period was relatively fewer and the state of it was relatively weaker. Through the excavation on the sitea of Xin zhou, Xia fengtang and Zhong Tukeng as well as the operation of the archaeology and the third general investigation of cultural sites, we have gradually realized that the sites of Pre-Qin Dynasty possess relatively strong local color. Due to the detailed information obtained through the excavation of Xia Feng Tang site and the comparasion with the sites of Pre-Qin Dynasty have been found in the upper reaches of Xin'an River on the basic of these information, we have the chance to get further understanding of the characteristics of the relics in the region of the upper researches of Xin'an River. The sites at Pre-Qin Dynasty in this region have much similarity from the aspects of geography environment to the cultural appearance. The author of the thesis try to analyze the specialty of the cultural appearance of the sites at Pre-Qin Dynasty in the region of the upper researches of Xin'an River through the preliminary analysis and researches of their cultural appearance and the simple discussion of the age framework of the sites at Pre-Qin Dynasty as well as the comparison with the contemporaneous culture at neighboring regions especially the comparison with the culture of Ma Qiao and Hao Chuan graveyard.
