The Yemule site is located in the northeast of JingshikeAkesu village of Emin county of Tarbagatalregion of Xinjiang UyghurAutonomous Region,south of Emin river,north of Jingshikeakesu river.The Heritage Institute of Northwest University has excavated the site over three hundred and sixty-two square meters, with the management of cultural relics of Emin county,and collected a large number of remains of the Song and Yuan Dynasties,fill the blank of the material appearance during the Song and Yuan Dynasties in this region.Provides substantial information for the research of the economic life and culture appearance during the Song and Yuan Dynasties in this region. In addition,the settlement pattern of site and production activities details still need further exploration.
