Research On Primary Education Of Shandong In Ming Dynasty

Shandong has a long history and splendid culture. Qilu culture is an important part of Chinese civilization. Starting from the Western Zhou Dynasty of China, Shandong has become a cultural center. However,economic center moved to Zhejiang and Jiangsu province in Southern Song, and cultural center moved to this area as well. Jiangsu and Zhejiang is the cultural center in the Ming Dynasty, and Shandong is no longer the cultural center of Ming dynasty, so academia pay less attention to Shandong. As a big province, Shandong has a splendid culture, we should pay enough attention to it. The cultural heritage is inseparable from schools. As government schools have a sound system and many records, researchers write many more papers about them. However, primary school education is no systematic discussed before due to material dispersion. But it and the government schools together constitute the Shandong education system, its role is huge, can not be ignored.This thesis attempts to do the Ming Dynasty of primary school education research. This thesis discusses comprehensivly the primary school education in Shandong from private schools, community schools, colleges, clan learning, family learning and other aspects. Detailed dissection such schools, including government policies, the situation of teachers and students, funding and existing problems, the thesis also draws a large number of forms about the distribution of the community schools and the colleges in order to have a clear and systematic understanding of the primary school education of Shandong in the Ming Dynasty .In the last of the thesis make a discussion and analysis about the relation between primary school education and government school education of Shandong in Ming Dynasty. Primary school education is an important part of the Shandong education system, the two together constitute the complete education system of Shandong education system in Ming Dynasty.
