"Men's work centers around outside, women's work centers around the home" is the important issues of gender socialization in the social psychology and the research content of implicit stereotype. From the psychological point of view,70 graduates who come from three universities in Nanjing were tested in the "men's work centers around outside, women's work centers around the home" stereotype in this paper, using the Implicit Association Test and the Stereotype Explanatory Bias. The study is divided into two experiments:The first experiment:Implicit Association Test.Research tool is INQUISIT2.0 and experimental material is 10 words of men's and women's names and characteristics. The results showed:(1) The sensitivity of Implicit "men's work centers around outside, women's work centers around the home" stereotype measurement tools is high (D=3.47);(2) Implicit "men's work centers around outside, women's work centers around the home" stereotype has a significant IAT effect;(3) Implicit "men's work centers around outside, women's work centers around the home" stereotype has a significant difference in gender; Further statistical analysis showed that female subjects have a higher degree of recognition than male subjects in this point of view; major has not significant effect on Implicit "men's work centers around outside, women's work centers around the home".The second experiment: Stereotype Explanatory Bias.Research tool is the self-compiled questionnaire and the main elements of questionnaire come from the materials used in the Implicit Association Test experiment. The results showed:(1) Stereotype Explanatory Bias dose exit, the idea which "men's work centers around outside, women's work centers around the home" does exit;(2) there are no significant effects of major, but there is significant difference in gender.Conclusion:(1) the idea which "Men's work centers around the society, women's work centers around the home" still remains;(2) Implicit "men's work centers around outside, women's work centers around the home" has a significant difference in gender,major has not significant effect on Implicit "men's work centers around outside, women's work centers around.(3) the result of Implicit Association Test and Stereotype Explanatory Bias are same.
