Universities are places where elite people from all regions gather together to receive higher education. With the development of economy and culture, exchanges between ethnic groups have increased.More and more minority students come to universities in Guangzhou and other inland areas to study. In the society,Han students are superior to minority students in their studies, while minority students are superior to Han students in some abilities. This study takes Uygur and Han students from Guangzhou University as an example. The first study is exploring the ability(learning and talent)stereotype of college students, focusing on academic stereotypes of university students in the mainland. And the secord study is exploring the characteristics of the academic stereotype of Uygur students and the academic stereotypes of Han students. The implicit association test paradigm was adopted to investigate the stereotype of 24 Han students and 23 Uygur students in Guangzhou University. It was found that students had stereotypes about the Uygur and Han nationalities.Students tend to associate learning words with Han people, linking acqierement words with Uygur students. Both had the stereotype of " Han students is better at learning than Uygur students, and Uygur students are more talented than Han students ".In further research,we used the SEB questionnaire to examine the stereotypes in academic field of 52 Uygur and 62 Han students in Guangzhou University. The results are found to be on the overall SEB value, the stereotype of Uygur students is not obvious, but the stereotype of Han students is obvious, there is a belief in "Han students are good at school".On the SEB value under the internal and external attribution conditions, the results were found in the evaluation of Han students,Students will mostly attributed to the external environmental factors with the result of "Han students are not good at learning",and the results of "Han students are good at learning" are mostly attributed to the internal factors of individual. There exists academic stereotype that Han students are good at academic learning. However, for Uygur students, there is no significant difference in the internal attribution. But in the external attribution,it is found that the external attribution quantity in the consistent situation(the Uygur students are not good at academic learning)is more than that in theinconsistent situation(the students are good at academic learning). That means that students believe that Uygur students not good at learning much due to external factors. To some extent, there exists the concept of "Uygur students are good at learning".In general, students have different views of ability for different nationalities. There are academic race stereotypes of students. They believe that Han students are better at learning than Uygur students. But this stereotype exists mainly through comparison. For Han students, the concept of "learning well for Han students" exists. For Uygur students, there is no concept of "Uygur Students' poor academic learning".
