The using of Chinese character "bei" in sentences is one of the most important grammatical points in modem Chinese and meanwhile it is difficult for Korean students. This thesis compares the differences and similarities between Chinese and Korean on passive voice sentences after concluding the present situation of this grammatical point. Questionnaires showed that Korean students frequently make mistakes when using "bei" sentences. After doing some research, the author analyses the characteristics of passive language between Chinese and Korean, on the basis of which the author sums up the reasons of Korean students' mistakes:negative transfer, overly generalization and inductive error. Combining teaching theory and experience, the author designs the teaching projects concerning the word order, incidental compound and emotional coloring of using "bei" sentences. The purpose of this thesis is to help Korean students overcome the interference from their mother tongue during the process of studying Chinese, and comprehensively understand the grammatical characteristics of "bei" sentences, therefore, to avoid overly generalization and reduce mistakes when using it. Being one of the most significant grammatical points of modern Chinese, the author wishes Korean students can genuinely grasp it and smoothly apply it in communication.
