Food is the material base for the subsistence and development of the mankind, and food security is the major issue concerning life and health, economic development and social stability. Nowadays, there still exist poor safety conditions, food adulteration, pesticide residue and poisonous food in food industry, which is one of three-pillar industries in national economy. Food security has great impact on the social stability, foreign food trade, and further on the building process of the well-off society in an all-round way. Thus the significance of food security has drawn more and more attention and become the talking point of government and consumers. For the most part, food security is morally bonded at the root and calls for an integral ethical system as well as laws and regulations externally, which can guarantee the mass food security effectively. This paper, in the perspective of ethics, puts forward the effectual measures for food security, combined with some principles involved. The first part, as the foundation of research, elaborates the concept and ethical significance of food security. The second part through the introduction of ethics flaw in domestic food security, regulates these problems by category. The third part based on the current situation analyses such ethical causes as morals imperfection in food production, management and supervision. Moreover, lack of food security awareness is another objective cause. The fourth part proposes the moral claim to maintain the food security, asking the practitioners to foster clear values on the respect for lives, asking the producers to establish the view of righteousness and benefit, asking the government to assert the people-oriented management philosophy, asking the media to strengthen evaluation and supervision. All these moral principles, domains and norms constitute the theoretical basis of food security, promoting the further study on its moral frameworks. The last part indicates that government, enterprises and public should cope with the problems caused by food security jointly besides the measures mentioned above. What's more, several strategies in practice are raised to deal with these problems:to tighten up the moral system, to promote food security awareness, and to establish the correct orientation for public opinion.
