The 21st century is the century of biotechnology. The transgenic technology takes the 21st century biological technology the core, more and more widely used in agriculture, food, medicine and so on. Especially since the advent of genetically modified food, because of its high cold (dry) of, insect resistance, multi-function food and so many advantages, making genetically modified food in the world takes on a non-containment trend. However, genetically modified food in great economic benefit to mankind, but also to human health and ecological environment of the potential danger, causing a number of ethical issues. Therefore, in recent years, whether the safety of genetically modified food, genetically modified food should identify the gene in the end it should be granted the patent, whether genetically modified food should be commercialized, and so a series of ethical questions now become one of the hottest topics around the world.In this paper, based on the principles of ethics do no harm, respect the principle of effectiveness, impartiality of the four basic principles to study the ethical issues of genetically modified food, from a philosophical point of view to examine the safety of genetically modified food issue, identify the problem and informed choice, gene patents and benefit distribution, commercialization and make some more reasonable solution, designed to further review and deepen the genetically modified food in the ethics of research on China's genetically modified food research and development has important theoretical and practical significance.
