Chinese and Japanese homograph is the studying point that Japanese overseas students meet quite frequently when they study Chinese. what are the differences between Chinese and Japanese homographs and how to guide Japanese students to learn Chinese and Japanese homographs is the key point in the teaching Chinese as a foreign language.there are characters in Japanese , therefore, when Japanese learners meet Chinese and Japanese homograph, they tend to take them as words of their own language and lack serious attitude toward them.most of the researches have always been focus on homograph'semanteme and word emotion, However, when students are leaning homographs, they are asked for learn not only the meaning of the words but also their pronunciation and spelling. however, when students are leaning homographs, they are asked for learn not only the meaning of the words but also their pronunciation and spelling. Teaching books means a lot to students basicly. so this essay is based on the teaching book of BoYa Chinese, this paper aims at finding out all homographs and then doing contrastive study on Chinese and Japanese homographs.this essay tries to do contrastive analysis of Chinese and Japanese homographs form the three aspects of pronunciation, structure and meaning and to make contrast similarities and differences of Chinese and Japanese homograph。and then, based on the massive examples of error analysis selected from Beijing language University's HSK Dynamic composition Language materials library, this essay organizes these examples and do comprehensive analysis on them and categorizes them. have find out the causes of errors, this essay's final purpose is to put forwards some suggesting on teaching methods on Chinese and Japanese homographs...
